Last Chapter Press is a 100% women-owned independent publishing house built for the way romance authors actually want to work — and the way romance readers actually want to read.

We specialize exclusively in steamy romance, and we mean exclusively. That focus makes us better at it. We actively seek and champion diverse voices — including POC, LGBTQIA+, and marginalized authors — because the best romance reflects the full spectrum of love and desire.

Our reader community knows what to expect from an LCP title: heat without harm. We publish stories free from abuse, kidnapping, threats, and distressing content — contemporary romance, romantic comedy, paranormal, LGBTQIA+, romantic suspense, and beyond.

Built for momentum.

Most publishers ask authors to wait. We built our operation so you don't have to. From manuscript receipt to published title, LCP strives for an 8-week turnaround— without cutting corners on editing, cover design, formatting, or marketing support. That speed isn't a shortcut. It's a system. It means the series stays hot, you can hit the relevant and popular tropes, your readers stay engaged, and you start earning faster.

We publish 50–70 titles annually across short reads, novellas, full-length novels, and multi-author series — and every title gets the same hands-on attention from our two-person team.

LCP is a full-service press — no vanity fees, no hidden costs, no payment required from authors. Ever. We handle formatting, cover design, KDP upload, metadata, marketing support, and author development so you can stay focused on what you do best: writing the story.

Steamy Stories. Safe Spaces. Strong Voices.
