Last Chapter Press is currently open to submissions for short stories, novellas, full-length novels, and multi-author and single-author series.
Currently seeking romance in the following sub genres: Contemporary Romance, Romantic Comedy, Paranormal, LGBTQIA, and Romantic Suspense.
We are interested in romance stories filled with emotional connection, engaging plotlines, strong conflicts, notable and clear tropes, vivid characters, a spice level of no more than a 4.5 out of 5, and always a happily ever after.
Special considerations will be made for submissions that are developed as a series and not a stand alone.
❌ No pseudo incest, infidelity, bestiality, rape (even as titillation), necrophilia, pedophilia, underage sex, or depraved acts (i.e. masturbatory voyeurism), cheating, and cliffhangers.
❌ No previously published works, plagiarism, song lyrics or copyrighted material
❌ No AI generated, created, conceptualized, or outlined stories.
All authors submitting must be 18 years of age or older for consideration.

-Previous publishing experience, writing affiliations, and writing awards

-Newsletter subscriber count

Microsoft Word attachment that includes: synopsis (up to 5 pages) and full manuscript
Reviews of full manuscripts will take up to 15 days for a response.

Expectations for authors joining Last Chapter Press:
✅ Established and active social media presence on at least 2-3 outlets (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
✅ Participation with online chats and promotions created by Last Chapter Press
✅ Be open to feedback and accepting to the expertise provided by Last Chapter Press.
