Chloe Monroe dreams of borrowing gnomes for adventures!

Welcome back! Today we're talking with LCP author Chloe Monroe! She's an up and coming author with lots of promise on the horizon.

We're going to dig right into the questions and getting to know her better!

How’d you get into writing?
I've always loved writing. I joined an authors group and had the opportunity to meet other authors. I started working with a writing coach and was able to publish.

What do you like to read and why?
I love to read fiction romance novels. Not only the happily ever afters but also ones that keep you guessing.

Three things about you that no one knows.
1. This is the first house I've lived in that I'm not afraid of the basement.
2. I love naps! They are so refreshing.
3. When I was in school, I was a poor reader and never finished our assigned books. So, I never finished Lord of the Flies, The Great Gatsby.

Where do you hope to see your writing in ten years?
I would hope to see a lot more books on Amazon with my name on the covers.

If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would you choose and why?
I would choose Cowboy Up by Chris LaDoux. It's about a cowboy who falls off his horse. He says you gotta cowboy up even when you fall. You gotta get back in the saddle. I need that reminder!

What’s your go-to drink? Coffee? Tea? The hard stuff?
I'm not a coffee fan. At all. My morning drink is chocolate milk. I also love lemonade--especially strawberry lemonade. I also like Dr. Pepper. I'm trying to learn to drink more water.

What about writing do you find the hardest and how do you overcome the obstacle?
It's hard to make everything come together. It's especially hard to think of that dark moment of what tears my sweeties away from each other. I overcome it by talking it out with someone. Just saying it out loud gets my creativity brewing.

Other than your Last Chapter Press book(s), which of your books or series do you love the most and why?
My fave is Embracing Trust. It was my first book so it holds a special place in my heart.

Would you encourage others to get into writing?
Definitely. If you have a desire to write a book, find people who support you.

What do you think of garden gnomes?
I've always wanted to borrow a garden gnome from someone's yard, take pictures of it going on a vacation and then return it. Unharmed, of course. I don't have a garden gnome, but I should. I would like to find a gnome and his friends in my tree trunk.

Thanks for answering our questions, Chloe! We'd love to see pictures of that gnome vacation and we're very happy to have you as a member of the Last Chapter Press family!
